Hi Louise, your book was very nice and well put together. I use to work for a TBI company, and enjoyed working with the patients, and helping them towards their road to recovery. Acceptance is the biggest mountain that we all must overcome in order for us to heal mentally and physically. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the invite, Louise.
Welcome, John! Somehow I didn't get notice that you had joined, thank you for all you bring to the community of TBIers!

Love your poetry, heart wrenching, but beautiful and true. I tried to put this poem on the political page but it would not post. I will post it here, let me know what you think of it.
In the wake of the death and distruction
In the smoldering ashes of loved ones
In the broken hearts of the families
In the Honor of the Brave
In the tears of the World
In all of this there comes a strength
that no other country can even come close to
We are and always will be the Greatest Nation
in the Universe, We are the United States of America
In the heart of every man, woman, and child our
hearts beat one word---- babump, Freedom, babump, Freedom, babump, Freedom....

Dear Louise, I love your site. It is a breathe of fresh air yet so calming at the same time. I thought it was the Italian that drew me to you, but I see so much more now, and your inner gift has come out shinning like a star. Will read all I can and hopefully will see you two with the fishermen again someday. Denise

So beautiful--so YOU, Louise! I was compelled to look at every page. Love the poems--especially the one about Mike's bee in his head. (Is it still there, Mike?) And the lovely images--who is the artist? Are these your paintings? Love to you!
